It all started in 2018 sitting in a cozy coffee shop figuring out what I will do to make an exciting entrance for my first time in the farmers market apart from selling rice. As breakfast was served and we spread jam on a toast my two friends suggested that I could make some jams for the market too.
It was an interesting idea so I did my research and as I walked past many stores I realized that most of them did not have natural fruit jams. I then decided to introduce the jams in the farmers market with two recipes passion and strawberry.
It was interesting to see how everyone was excited to get jams at the farmers market and surprisingly in an hour we sold out. To fulfill the need of people who love to have 100% natural preservative free jams who had to search in far places to get it and can now enjoy it through Essy Jams made me happy.
That marked the beginning of my journey. Every month I modified recipe using variety of fruits, spices and herbs. And every last Saturday of the month during the Farmers market we received more and more compliments and it became something they looked forward to receiving.
In December 2018 one of my high school colleague approached me and asked me to prepare 100 jars of our jams as appreciation gift to their clients. After receiving amazing feedback, I decided to take a serious step in building the product.

Canning is the most crucial step in our spreads making. Jars are cleaned, hot filled and there after undergo hot water canning. This procedure is done to increase shelf life of our spreads and sanitize our jars so that our spreads do not go bad.
All of our organic spreads are handcrafted in small batches to maintain quality, colors and flavors. We skip pectin and other artificial preservatives resulting to a runnier texture than normal but tastier and healthier jam that you can eat straight outta jar.
