Jam Muffins
A beautiful way to spoil your loved ones (especiallykids). Bake from scratch this scrumptious sweet treat of the fluffiest vanillacupcakes with our organic jams filled centers and topped with creamy vanillabuttercream frosting mixed with our jam too.
Ingredients
- 100 gm Unsalted Butter
- 2 tbsp Baking Powder
- 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Plain Yoghurt
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 jar Essy Blackberry Jam
Instructions
- Dry ingredients: Add 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour and add tsp of baking powder. Sieve the two ingredients and whisk the mixture.
- In a bowl, add melted butter then add granulated sugar. Mix well. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Then add vegetable oil and vanilla essence and mix well.
- Pour your bowl of dry ingredients (flour and bakingpowder) into the wet ingredients bowl then fold in the mixture.
- Add plain yoghurt fold. Add milk fold in.
- Divide two-thirds of the cake batter between thecupcake cases. Add 1 tsp of Essy blackberry jam to the center of each and mix,then top with the remaining cake batter. Bake for 20 minutes at180°C on preheated oven.
